Partner Manager Microsoft (w/m/d)

Remote DE
Full-time
Permanent employee

Your mission

As a Partner Manager Microsoft (m/f/d), you will act as an entrepreneur. You take ownership of the P&L for our Microsoft partnership as an independent business unit. Your mission: drive the strategic development of our cloud alliance, maximize market presence through targeted marketplace strategies, and accelerate sales success through effective co-selling and funding management.

Your planned start date is January 1, 2027.

What you will do

  • Relationship Management & Strategy: Act as the face to the partner. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), drive strategic milestones (e.g., Azure Expert MSP), and actively develop the "PCG + Microsoft" narrative together with management.

  • Monetization & Marketplace: Manage the scaling of our marketplace business. As a funding driver, ensure that every qualified enterprise deal (>€50k) is supported profitably through optimal use of funds (MDF, cash-backs, POC funding).

  • Co-Sell Orchestration: Act as the "resource guard," prioritizing marketing and event activities based on strict ROI. Additionally, organize mapping sessions between our internal teams and the Microsoft sales team.

  • Internal Enablement: Serve as a multiplier and ambassador. Through sales masterclasses and regular updates, ensure that our sales team understands and successfully leverages partner programs.

  • Governance: Take responsibility for monitoring and managing all certifications critical to partner status (100% compliance).

Your profile

  • Strategic Sales Mindset: Deep understanding of cloud ecosystems and experience in managing hyperscaler partnerships, with a focus on Microsoft.

  • Entrepreneurial Thinking: You take ownership of a P&L and think in terms of partner contribution (Revenue + Funding – Costs) rather than individual tasks or tickets.

  • Proven Track Record: Verifiable success in this environment or a similar business, bringing your hands-on learning curve to the role.

  • Hands-on Deal Acceleration: Ability to identify complex sales processes, leverage funding opportunities, and proactively drive deals to closure.

  • Strong Communication Skills: Confident presence at the C-level and the ability to act internally as an enabler for the sales organization.

  • Structured Work Style: Data-driven approach, clear understanding of your KPIs (especially Marketplace Adoption & Funding Penetration), and the ability to steer activities based on measurable impact.

  • Personality: High integrity, composed under pressure, strong perseverance, and the courage to embrace necessary changes and challenges.

  • Team Spirit & Drive: A results-driven mindset combined with a passion for collaborating with our diverse team of dedicated experts.

What this role is NOT

  • No administrative ticket handling or portal administration.

  • No "secretariat" work for manual deal entries (we rely on automated processes and CRM excellence).

Your benefits

  • Pure Flexibility: Work in a way that fits your life—remotely within the country, hybrid, or in one of our offices in Austria (Linz & Vienna).

  • Workation: Want to work and discover new places? Take advantage of up to 30 days of workation per year to combine work and adventure.

  • Time Off: Recharge your energy whenever you need it with 25 days of paid vacation.

  • Your Hardware, Your Choice: Mac, Windows, or Linux—you decide what you prefer to work with.

  • Career Growth: Training, labs, and certifications for AWS, Azure, Google & SAP—we boost your cloud know-how.

  • Feedback That Matters: Regular development and salary reviews so you always know where you stand.

  • More Than the Basics: A diverse benefits package including a mobility package (e.g., ÖBB Vorteilscard, Klimaticket), Wellpass, bike leasing, company pension scheme, childcare allowance, and more.

  • Team Spirit: Whether team events (or hackathons), summer parties, or Christmas celebrations—we celebrate success together.

  • Salary is paid in accordance with the IT Collective Agreement (IT-Kollektivvertrag). Depending on your qualifications and experience, we are very open to offering a significant overpayment above the collective agreement baseline.
